Following the first edition
, the second edition of the Prague School on Discrete Mathematics will be held on July 16-20, 2018
in the historical building
of the Computer Science Department of Charles University in the very heart of Prague. The lectures will be given by Piotr Micek
, Aleksandar Nikolov
, and Peter Pal Pach
The School is primarily intended for PhD students and early career
researchers. However, subject to capacity restrictions, anyone interested may
participate. The number of participants is limited to 40. We will be able to
provide a limited number of stipends to cover travel and stay for
participants with no other funds.

The 45th International Colloquium on Automata, Languages, and Programming (ICALP) is held in Prague in the week preceding the School.
